Weekly teaching focus

• Early weeks: safety, pipetting, sterile technique, environmental samples, bacterial lawns, and plaque screening.
• Middle weeks: purification, titers, lysates, microscopy, DNA extraction, host range, and data interpretation.
• Late weeks: genome analysis, figures, poster practice, and final presentations.
